Happy Anniversary My Husband- Kevin Danvers
“To the Man Who Stays, Prays, and Loves Me Well”
My husband.
What can I say!!
Twenty-three years, and I am still amazed.
I thank God for you each and every day.
From the moment our paths crossed, God was writing a story I didn’t even know to pray for.
You have been by my side every step of the way
Not just in the moments that were easy
but in the seasons that required strength, sacrifice, and silent prayers.
You are my greatest supporter
The one who lifts me when my spirit feels heavy
The one who reminds me who I am and whose I am.
You are my defender
My quiet warrior
The man who covers me, protects me, and stands for me even when I don’t see it.
You are my friend
My confidant
The one I laugh with, vent to, dream with, and grow with.
You are my bank manager
Not because of money
But because you invest in me
In us
In our future
With wisdom, patience, and love.
You are my babysitter
Though these children belong to both of us
You have carried the load more times than anyone will ever know.
You are my farming partner
My partner in life
My partner in purpose
My partner in every seed we have planted in this family
And every harvest we have reaped together.
God knew I would need you
Long before I understood the kind of love my heart required.
And no one—absolutely no one—could do it better.
The way you give
Selflessly, quietly, wholeheartedly
The way you support
Without hesitation, without complaint.
The way you pray
Covering our home, our children, and my life with intercession.
And oh, the hours you have spent on your knees
Praying with me
Praying for me
Praying us through storms that others never even knew we faced.
I have no doubt that I hit the jackpot.
You are my victory ticket
My God-sent blessing
My answered prayer
My “exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ask or think.”
You are my forever
The place my heart returns to
The one my soul trusts.
And today—after twenty-three years—
I re-dedicate my heart and my love to you.
Not because I have to
But because I want to
Because you have proven over and over again
That love can be faithful
That partnership can be beautiful
And that marriage, when rooted in God, only grows stronger.
